What are Cochlear Implants and How Do They Work?

We are one of the few clinics in eastern Montana that specialize in programming and performing candidacy evaluations for implantable audiologic devices such as cochlear implants or bone-anchored hearing aids.

If you struggle to hear even while using appropriately programmed traditional hearing aids, you may be a candidate for one of these implantable options.

A cochlear implant or bone-anchored hearing aid helps bypass the damaged portion(s) of the auditory system in order to provide better access to speech.

These devices can be implanted in infancy through late adulthood.
